Please keep your eye on the announcements.
In short, we've had enough of our current location -- the landlord/tenant issues with the garbage, upkeep, disrepair, lighting, etc. But the graffiti was the last straw.
We'll be closing at this location, and hopefully will be reopening at another, but that depends on a lot of factors.
Until then, we are taking special orders (which have become a larger part of our business), discounting orders through FMG's catalog (a HUGE source of findings, and things easily ordered on-line), and providing the best selection of beads in the city/region.
We are _DISCOUNTING_ everything, and want to sell off to the bare walls (except for the items noted in the announcement).
Seed beads, loose beads, strands, glass, gemstones, bone, horn, plastic/acrylic, EVERYTHING is being discounted.
Biggest discounts on the findings (especially costume), silver/gold PLATED items, and lower-end strands especially our $12 and under items (but anything under $20 is considered in this group).
Higher end bead strands and artisan beads are discounted 20%-40% depending on the strand and the size of the order.
Our prices are already generally the best in town -- we've heard of a shop selling 30' accuflex 0.024 for $18, which is almost 3x top catalog price! We offer it for $5.67 which is 2nd-level discounted price, to EVERYONE. Bead strands that are in other shops for $40, are available from us for under $20. Our gemstone quality is the best in town, and we price lower-grade strands accordingly! If we get 10 strands in, and the quality varies -- we price them differently! We don't slap one price on them -- especially if below grade (if too below grade, our distributors take them back! -- or just credit us and ship us new stuff).
So, on top of this:
1) We offer catalog prices for most findings, precious metals, and such. But, we compare apples to apples, so what's in the catalog may be B+ grade. If ours is A+ the prices is higher. We use FMG's catalog as a reference, since EVERYONE has that catalog -- regardless of where we actually get the items. Some items are good enough and even better from FMG. Other times, we get better deals or slightly different items from other sources. We offer DISCOUNTED prices -- at least 2nd level pricing. Larger orders, and pre-paid special orders can get bigger discounts. We've been able to save EVERYONE who's ordered money. Tax-exempt customers pay no shipping *or* sales tax! We get an order in every week, or more often. Smaller/lighter orders go Overnight, and arrive Thursday or Friday of that week. Regular orders, go standard, and usually arrive the week after.
2) We offer the best selection of gemstones in town at FAIR prices. We pick/choose most strands our self, and grade them properly. You get what you pay for -- often more. With the new discounts, our prices are close to the "wholesale" prices you will find on the Internet even for RETAIL CUSTOMERS! And, you can see exactly the items you want, match the color/size, and not pay shipping!
3) If you've saved your receipts, and/or have a better beading card, bring it in, and we'll tally your discounts, and give you a discount coupon you can use NOW. We'll be generous. We don't want anyone left out because they didn't reach the $300 minimum. We'll pro-rate it, and give you a discount coupon NOW!
4) We have displays, and stands for jewelry. The holiday season is coming, so get ready. We can get many other displays in. If you see them in the FMG catalog, shipping will *NOT* be charged and we can still offer discounted pricing on regular delivery. But order now! Time's moving fast.
5) We have several trunk shows still planned, so if you want to buy from our distributors make sure you are on our mailing list, and you'll be notified.
