Here is a sample kit, and what is in it.

http://betterbeads.com/beadbag_01.html

I made some changes based on the beads selected. The citrine and snowflake obsidian didn't seem to fit in. The rose quartz rondells also seemed to clunky next to the other beasds. They will probably show up in kit #3, which I'm putting together at this time. Kit #3 is earmarked for June. Lot's of pinks, and contrasts.

I can't seem to find the specifics on how to sign up for this anywhere. Am I missing something? Are you going to go with the same billing system as the seed bead club? And how much did the beadbag club end up costing each month? Please let me know.

Thanks, Tanya

Hi,

I had some problems uploading.

I will get the form on-line again. I was linking them into the new shopping area, and hoping to get on-line ordering set up shortly. We have all the parts, I'm just waiting for gossamer to finish their link to authorize.net to make it all happen :)

I will have an order form on-line, and will be adjusting links to point to it.

I honestly have not had the time, or desire (depression?) to redo the fliers that were stolen. I had spent 3 nights working on them, about 12-15 hours, and getting all the points lined up, and boxes filled in, and the only copy I have is a 2 generations back printout. No electronic copy. :(

Costs: $65 if you only want this kit (I'm not starting the membership officially until the next kit), or $50 if you sign up for the quarterly billing (4 kits, including this one), or the annual billing, again 4 kits plus this one. $6 shipping/insurance to lower 48 states. The "preview" is the next kit will be tanzanite (small beads, the largest will be about 1.5 +/- carats), but will make *very* dainty

I am trying to simplify everything, and not lose my mind in the process <G>

I have some nice suppliers, and maybe the 4th kit will be a "bead blast", just as many inexpensive colorful strands as I can pack into $50, sort of a "stock up" sale.

CrazyI am very new to the whole bead/rock world and am loving it so far. But I just read the response to the cost question and I still don't get it~Is it $50 per month, per quarter...how often are the bags sent? How does this work? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

sorry about the lateness of this reply, I didn't see it. My forum settings are a bit screwed up.

There is more information about the clubs on the http://betterbeads.com site.

We'll be redoing them, and that site, as next on my list.

We have two different "series" of clubs. One is monthly, for active beaders. The other is quarterly, and I think we'll adjust it to be a bit ahead of the seasons -- eg: spring, summer, winter, fall.

Same with the gemstone club.

I have redone the fliers, and will get them uploaded in a PDF format, as soon as I finalize and fix them up. Got a new machine -- the dell that replaced the stolen toshiba has been falling apart, and my "complete care" service contract from Dell is *worthless* A half dozen emails, tickets, etc, and i still can't get anyone to come out and fix the d***n thing. *NEVER* buy DELL. Their advertising is as close to fraud as it gets. <sigh> Live and learn. I'm about to take legal action, and send the machine back to them. Once I get it fully backed up, cleaned off, and obliterate all personal information from the harddrive -- which so far, is the only piece of the machine still working!!

Got a new IBM Thinkpad, and it's *awesome* .... just like the Thinkpad I had before the Toshiba.... only *BETTER* since it's 7 years newer <G> ... and that IBM Thinkpad, is *STILL* running fine! (Just under Windows 95....)
