It's weird.......on some posts it works just fine, on others I have to switch to the basic editor.

It does this weird thing of putting the stuff that is in the bar above, down into where I am supposed to post. If I go to type in there with the stuff in it, it jumps all over the posting box. It's like it's grabbing page align left, A with the underscore and page align right and trying to shove all three into the upper left corner of the post box.

I just switch to basic editor and type in there, but it seems odd that it only does it to every 3 or 4 posts I go to use.

No biggie to me, but thought you might like to know.

Usually, that means it's time to reboot windows ;)

I'm looking at installing the newest version of this software, that has some fixes, and an updated wysiwyg editor component, but most of the problems are windows....

I thought it was a Windows thing as well. I don't do the updates on this computer for Windows XP Home, for everytime I have done them, I end-up having to whipe this computer clean and start over. SO I just stick with the Windows it came with when I purchased the computer. I guess I am waiting for the next Windows to come-out, or wait until I get a newer laptop. Tongue

Usually, though, rebooting is enough, at least for awhile. That error is sort of windows way of nicely telling you it's time to reboot (not just hibernate, really _shutdown_ or _turnoff_ and restart)

LOL, after I do the windows update, this laptop seems to not know what restart means Tongue I shut this laptop down and do a spybot check and virus scan before shutting it off. Granted, it is probably only off for 4 hrs or so, but it does get shut down every day. I just work around it Tongue BeadShark

I've applied updates, and there is new forum software running.

There seem to be some bugs/quirks still, as I don't see the "attach" menu :( So, it might be a painful process.

Good luck, for I DO know how much work it is to run a website. Especially something like a forum. I am sure you have a lot more to deal with than I. Our website doesn't talk back to us, lol.Tongue
