Well,
A lot has gone on. We've added over 700 square feet of retail space, and I've built in shelves and display space for the beads and jewelry.
We've made room for more rock display, and it's a matter of setting up stands and shelves for them. All the beads are moving (or have moved) to the newly opened area, and the display case area will be 90% rocks and minerals, with a bit of glass and higher-end beads.
We've added a pirate chest of pony beads (actually a "special" low pony bead mix) for the kids, and kids at heart! Beads are sold bulk by the bag (3x5 and 4x6" bags) or by the strand, so your children can bead a bracelet or necklace while you shop.
We have started to hit bottom on rock pit, so another 200+ pounds are on the way in.
We've added more colors and mixes of plastic and fashion beads, as well as 20 new shades of Miyuki 11/o beads and delicas.
Coming NOW and SOON: - I have a large crystal order coming in! Points, clusters, hand-helds, raw clusters, double terminates, jewelry points, and more! 3 medium (table top) amethyst cathedrals are on the way as well, and they will be first come first served this season.
- Look for the crystals to start arriving Wednesday (tomorrow) and continue through the middle of the month. About 80 pounds of mixed grades is on the way -- Grade A-AAA :) (we only carry the best!)
- We have two stunning strands of Black Coral on display! You've never seen anything like them! We guarantee it!
- We also have some lapis and silver jewelry on consignment. If you like deep blue and silver, you need to see these!
- The new rocks in the pit should be here in about 2 weeks, so if you want first pick of the new treasures, mark your calendars!
- We are placing a large ORIGAMI PAPER order. If you need or want special papers, and want to pre-order and pre-pay, you can get great discounts! Orders of $100 or more will get a special 10% over wholesale price!!
Marie is also starting to teach more, and is taking reservations for beading parties. Stop by and find out what you can book. I don't know the details, but I'm putting the kits together, and they look great!
I will hopefully update this site more often now that the renovations and other work has been done.
