We had a vendor in the shop who has not been in town in over 6 years. He deals in Afghanistan Lapis, and has tourmaline and even kyanite (metaphysical grade, not beads).

We were unable to buy much for the shop, since we've been hit by a number of vendors in recent days (including the African vendor with AWESOME beads!)

So, if you want to buy lapis at WHOLESALE prices, you have ONE SHOT. The vendor will be back tomorrow, THURSDAY at about 7pm. *IF* we get some RSVP's that people are interested.

They have strands of lapis as low as $6 each, and up to several dollars PER GRAM. They also have pre-made bohoemian style necklaces that are really, really nice.

They have TINY 1.5mm or so Heshi lapis for those of you who like the little beads.

But, this is short notice, one day only, and who knows when he'll be back. He's talking a YEAR from now!

Better than Tuscon prices.

Also, he has lapis chunks, some will take your breath away, as well as lapis/sterling pendents.

A small sample of some of what we bought (and a lot of what we didn't) is below.

Hello again,

Sorry about the second note, but I left out the RSVP info. You need to let me know if you are going to show up, before about 5pm. If no one is showing up, he's going to just leave town.

We open at 1pm, and while we have an answering machine now, it's a bit flakey for some reason (maybe that last lightning strike had something to do with that).

I can't check email or forum replies during the day for now, so you need to call us at: 412-420-1020 if you are coming.

He'll be here about 7pm, if people are showing up.

We are trying to get more vendors to give us enough notice to get the word out, but many do not. We have several others scheduled for the next few weeks, but no definite times. If you are interested in short notice opportunities, let us know. We'll take your phone number and what items you are interested in, and if we have a vendor showing up we'll call.

You can call us at the shop, or leave your info in a private message here on the forum.

When vendors show up, we only buy what we like, or what we think you'll like. We don't know for sure. If you show up, you can pick out just what you want, and it works out better for everyone. We don't have to guess, or take a risk. The vendors make larger sales. You get great items at great prices. Everyone is happy.
