Gift/Loyalty System arrived! Can't Post

We issued the first electronic gift card today.

The loyalty system doesn't seem to be set up right (of course!) so we'll have to wait till tomorrow to get that working.

But if you've saved your receipts for January as we suggested you do, bring them in, and we'll give you a free loyalty card, plus credit your account with the balance you've accumulated.

Otherwise, the cards cost $5, but can be reused again and again. This is to prevent people from collecting cards, and raising costs for everyone. The cards do cost us, so we'd like you to take care of them, and bring them with you each time.

The basic loyalty program is set up so that every time you spend at least $20, we credit your card with the total of your purchase. When you hit $300, you get a $25 gift card.

The frequent customer card, is a variation, that every time you spend at least $10, you get one credit, and when you get 10 credits, you'll get a $10 gift card.

We do not have the silver certificate cards in, but can assign one of the regular gift cards to be one, if you want to purchase bulk sterling now.

Gift cards can be purchased in any denomination, and can be used in at least $10 amounts, or the total remaining on the card. They can even be refilled, if you want to put someone on a budget.

Stop by the store, for more information.

Gift cards have no expiration date, but can't be replaced. Even with a receipt, the card is what has the value on it, not the reciept. There is no charge for balance checks, and they are "cash" when used in our shop.

We are excited about this! Hopefully the program will be as exciting to you!
