The weather, the economy, gas prices, the world situation.....

Get yourself out of the doldrums, and stress of the past few weeks events by starting or finishing that project you've been hanging on to.

We have loads of new glass beads in stock for colorful and casual look. Large size, large holes, for macrame, cord stringing or even over chain.

We've gotten in a selection of Swarovski 3, 4, and 6 mm crystals in clear and AB, as well as some elongated bicones in absolutely stunning clarity!

We also have started making up earring and finding kits which have been selling briskly. Simple, easy, and fun to make.

We have also expanded our services to home school and private school teachers and parents. We can provide materials for rock & mineral lessons, fossils and more. We can also provide arts and crafts instruction and materials for beading, weaving, knotting, origami, quilling, and many other crafts. Some of the skills can be used for girl scout badges.

We have some openings for holiday house parties (http://holidayhouseparties.com). We can bring a bead party into your home, and even teach you how to make earrings or a bracelet at the time. One type of party is a bead sales type party. Rather than getting yourself and your friends down to the shop, we can bring a selection of items to you. You need to arrange ahead of time where your interests lie. The other type of party is more like a class, where you decide on a project or skill, and we'll bring the materials to teach it. You'll come away with something(s) you can wear.

The holidays are coming fast - there's very little time to get it all done.

This may be a little late, but the mood in the country has not changed, although the weather is a bit more sunny, and hopefully will stay that way through the weekend.

If you voted, win or lose, you have something to be cheerful about. You are an AMERICAN with that right, and you exercised it.

Friday and Saturday, Sunday bring your voter-card stub with you, and get 10% off any size regular price purchase. (Or a free gift if you are a wholesale/tax-exempt customer.)

If you were one of the provisional voters, you need some extra cheering up, so we'll give you 15% off any regular priced purchases.

Voter cards don't count.... your voting stub does. 50% of american voters didn't vote, and I'm sure many of them had voter cards. Bring your stub.

Also, we'll be working on Christmas Bonus Bucks, in addition to the standard frequent customer bonus. We need a way to track who our frequent customers are, and the Christmas Bonus Bucks will be the way. For now, just save your receipts, but we'll be offering the bonus bucks from now, though Christmas. We should have them by Saturday (maybe even later today).
