Changes to the store Can't Post

We are making another set of changes to the store, hopefully, this will be our last for the duration of the summer.

In order to accomdate the literal explosion of beads coming in, we are going to flip the shop from left to right. For those who have been there, that means the beads area will become the rocks/minerals/crystals area, and the rock and etc area will become the beads area. There will be a substantially increased run of around the wall beads, with one level of beads in containers ("loose" beads) and a level above that with beads in tubes (flip tops). Above that, small shelves or dangling hanks.

The three rolling display units will be moved to the back room, and hold up storage room inventory.

The open space will have 1 or 2 long tables for class/projects, and could seat as many as 10 people, in a pinch. Class sizes are usually kept to 4-6 people, though there are some times a slightly larger group would be desired.

The tables the beads are on now, were built to specifications designed to hold up rocks, so the display of various decorative, healing, and metaphysical stones will be greatly enhanced.

Most of our inventory is burried, and this change will hopefully allow us to get more out and visible.

We hope to have the major changes necessary to flip the store done over the holiday weekend (even though we'll be open), and we'll be actually moving the items around during the next week.

There will most likely be NO BETTER TIME to find, see, and get your hands on unusual rough, minerals, crystals, slabs and other stuff! First come, first served. Much of the rough and odd specimens are irreplaceable, and once gone, are gone! I've had some of the stuff 10 years.

The origami papers will move to a different wall,. The sci-fi vehicle kits will occupy a smaller space, and I'll rotate the display. The collection, as our trading cards (non sports cards, mostly mid-90's and earlier) will be mostly by appointment, or web-only, until we can renovate some additional space.
