I'm going to be setting up the http://beadworkbymarie.com website this week, to showcase some of her work, what she can teach, and what she has available for sale.
If you need or want classes, house parties, birthday parties, etc, get a hold of her. We still have some limited time slots, even a couple of weekend slots between now and the new year.
For adults, or older teens, she can teach you to do the tennis style bracelets in about 2 hours. You'll probably need another hour or so of your own time to finish them up, but once you learn the steps, it's simple even if you've never really beaded before.
We've had a lot of success with birthday parties for kids of all ages, with projects ranging from simply 30 minute stringing or knotting to 2 hours of earrings, macrame, or advanced stringing.
We can host origami parties, quilling parties, even foamies and woodsies (making animals, picture frames, decorative objects, and more). All these light weight items can be used for pins, pendents, and earrings, as well as non-jewelry uses.
There are not "discrete" crafting fields. Most blend together, and overlap, and skills and materials you use one way one day, you use another on the next. We help you develop those skills, get to know those materials, and develop your own creative visions.
